I just cant take this anymore?
Valerie Asked: I just cant take this anymore?
I am a sufferer of Eczema….foryou all that dont know its a disease of extremely extreemee dry skin. And i have Contact Eczema. My skin under a microscope is different. it is more open to nerves, as a result, it irritates my skin when i touch stuff. ESPECIALLY paper.I am 13 ending 7th Grade and this disease is ruining my life.It effects my grades, mind, and performance.I am very very smart but my skin is so distracting in school and you know how everything is paper in school. My mom knows and she was heartbroken.Theres no cure, no medicine, nothing. Only lotion.Even coating with lotion every morning, throughout the day, and night isnt enough. Ifeel all dirty with lotion so i try not to use it alot.I have a very hard life here.I always wonder how am I gonna go on in life.I have to wear tape on my hand when i write.i hate jeans too.I spit on my hands to keep them moist. HELP!!! please.
im tearing up as i write this. Its hard to take showers cuz that drys out my skin more. Even with lotion. But i also love the warmth and comfort.its the only time i get away.I have thought of killing myself everyday to end my suffering.I pray to God.in the beginning of the year i had a breakdown.I never want to go to school. Not for class, for THIS. :'( PLEASE HELP IM CRYING PLEASE OH MY GOD PLEASE.NOBODY knows my condition but my family.NBODY knows how hard my life is for me.i know other people have it…but not like this.they have it only on their feet and hands, i have it ALL OVER;Im always soooo stressed out and im failing classes because of THIS!!!! its not fair!!!!!Im smarter than this! My friends are always like i dont wanna go to school……omggg i dont wanna do homework.Im like yeaa me either.BUT THEY DONT KNOW WHY!!!!!!! Omg i ive had it.What do i do??? all the doctors say is put cream on… WELL I DO!!!!! Pleaase please help me how do i deal with this!
Answers:
I once had severly dry and leathery skin after a minor accident and for over a year it stayed that way until someone recommed me this thick creme from the Body Shop. It is the Hemp Creme (seriously it is creme from hemp) and they have a hand version and a thicker foot creme version. I used the hand creme version and it went away! For a sever case like yours I would recommend the foot version. Here is a link. Good luck…
I have Eczema too, I am sixteen years old now but when I was about 13 it started to get severe. Since then it has lightened up alot, but when i went to the doctor they would give me steroid shots that would help it go away. Also, I have poblems with being allergic to nickel, which is in door knobs and most other objects containing metal, I got prescribed an antibiotic that seemed to help with my Eczema too. Now, I rarely have problems with either, so you should try to talk to your doctor and google some options. I also used the cream too, and I had to try many different types of cream before one finally clicked. Make sure when you do shower that you are not rubbing your skin with the towel to dry off because it scratches your skin and makes it itch even more.
Poor thing don't you cry, And don't you worry, God will find a way to end your suffering, but suicide is NOT it!! Wear sweat pants. If it read is that bad try home schooling. Don't wear anything tight it will jut rub your skin.
And even though I have no idea away your goin through, I know that it must hurt to even think about it. Tell teachers or a counselor, maybe they can think of a way to help you in school.
And your friends don't know what youre going through but if they were true friends they wouldn't judge you for it.
Don't cry, things will get better, I promise you :'). It broke my heart to read this. Don't you end your life, you haven't gotten a chance to live. Your prince will find you, they always do. And if a boy judges you for this, he is absolutely not the right one. Ask your doctor for help. DO NOT CONSIDER SUICIDE, PLEASE. JUST PLEASE. </3.
Sounds like you might have allergies.See a doctor that deals with allergies.I suffered once from extreme internal itching. No signs of rash.I was having a histamine release from my body and thought I would go nuts.My emphathy goes out to you.Do this right away. There is no need for suffering like this.An Allergist is the only way to go.Good Luck!!

Dry rough spot on forehead, how to get rid of?
6549238 Asked: Dry rough spot on forehead, how to get rid of?
I used Epiduo but it didn't work out for me so I stopped. Since then there's a patch of dry skin on my forehead that will not go away. I've dried different lotions, moisturizers. The spot is a little darker than my skin tone too! Help! I exfoliate 3 times a week. I have a Clarsonic face brush I use. I moisturize and apply lotion but the spot is still dry! What should I do?! Is this permanent? I do not have eczema or psoriasis.

I don’t like my dads girlfriend What should I do?
iLostMaikee Asked: I don’t like my dads girlfriend What should I do?
I liked my dads girlfriend when I first met her she was fine and there was no reason not to like her then, I met her kids she has two 3 year old twins and 2 other daughters that she had taken away by DHR.
That didn't bother me much until she got put out of her God mothers house and she went into the "Salvation Army"(SA) until she could find a place well she found one but she kept getting wrote up at the SA for bringing in outside food.
So my dad let her stay with us for what he thought was going to be a week or so but turned out to be 2 months. This is when I started not liking her she is a bad mother her kids are also bad.
She hogs the bathroom no matter what time when she has no job and I have to go to school in the morning, she always follows my dad like a little puppy.
She peels dry skin off her feet a lot and its sounds really gross and loud sense she has eczema she scratches at night and its really loud her hair is like really short and nappy and she doesn't take care of herself she wears the same clothes sense shes poor and all her pants sag she never pulls them up.
She repeats what everyone/everything is saying if its a person or on the tv.
My dad bought her 2 toddler beds and 2 mattresses and a table but he cant afford to buy me pads and tampons.
Also one time we were in the emergency room cause i was sick and i couldn't move my neckand he knew this but he still made me take my iPod out so he could call her cause she wanted to see how i felt.
When he finally called her they didn't even talk about me and she always takes forever doing everything even just talking and she never gets anything right
shes smart but stupid at the same time
she told her kids no one would love them because they don't want to be loved just because they were being bad
She always calls him when we are spending time alone and she always jumps in our conversations when me and him are talking.
Also she repeats everything she says twice and says thank you for stupid reasons and she is always laughing or chuckling even at something simple like "well I forgot the soup *chuckles*"
She is so annoying what should I do?
Answers:
Firstly, we don't need to hear your life story.
Next, if you have to live with her, avoid her.If you don't have to live with her, move out and get your own place.Easy.
Are you of age to do that?
I am sorry that you are stuck in such a bad environment, which was made by your father when he allowed her into his house. There isn't much you can do, but honestly, she sounds like a real bum. There is no excuse for not being neat and clean. You're being exposed to her bad habits.I would try to get your dad alone, maybe go to lunch with him, and tell him how you feel. She might even try stealing. Or maybe you can get a relative to intervene.
can you live with your mother?
also it's unclear what your age is….
ask your dad to spend some father daughter time together and let him know you are not trying to upset him but you don't understand why this woman is in the house and what your concerns are and things you hear her say but don't yell at him b/c adults talk
tell him you have needs too and how you feel forgotten and that your sure he doesn't do it purposely but it's happening
i understand its difficult when someone New stays with u who s really different from u .. But i would suggest try to give her sometime , tell her things very decently what u really don't like , try to spend some Gud time with her as Whats more imp s to know her nature and character than her habits .. If she comes when u both are alone she may be wants to show that she wants to be a part of family .. And try to ignore some of the things u can't expect her to be exactly the way u are everyone s different.. Respect her for her nature don't judge her for her habits
lol i have almost the exact same thing
Hope I Helped ![]()

3 month old with extremely dry skin ?
Cupcake Asked: 3 month old with extremely dry skin ?
She has had dry skin since birth due to me having very low fluid. But everytime I bring up the skin to her doctor he isn't worried. He doesn't think she has a milk allergy. He says that it is her changing pad and I should put a towel on it and I do. Her skin is extremely dry on her face scalp back of elbows and legs. The Aveeno eczema lotion doesn't work and Aquaphor kind of works but not really. I need a parent who has experienced this with their baby to suggest a different lotion. In the mean time I will be looking for a dermatologist bc my pediatrician is upsetting me about her skin.
Answers:
You may want to change pediatrician. You need to find someone on your own pace and who can properly address your concerns.
My girls were and still are prone to eczema.I can't use anything but Johnson's baby soap and free and clear laundry soap so it doesn't break their eczema out. The only cream that I found that actually works and relieves dry skin and helps their eczema is Eurecin cream. Its thick and it holds in the moisture of their skin but locks out excess moisture which can cause severe dry skin. Believe it or not,too much moisture can dry out baby's skin super fast. So if baby tends to sweat, especially when sleeping it could cause her skin to dry out even more. Just get some Eurecin scream and lube her up,it should cure the dry skin after a few days.If she has eczema which may be the case then this cream will take away the dryness but you will have to keep putting it on her.

Do you know this kind of skin disease?
razia m Asked: Do you know this kind of skin disease?
Iam a teenager, and I have a skin disease. They appeared last year June . It started of
tiny and pimple-like. Then it grew bigger. After one or two days they appeared all over
my body.We have visited likethree dermatologists and two doctors. They all have a
different conclusions, which made me confused. First it was scabies, nummular eczema and
then I have "Citrobacter Freundii". I NEED SOME HELP! IM MUCH FRUSTRATED.
Answers:
I was initially diagnosed with scabies and then the 3rd doctor said it was nummular eczema. These rashes can look very similar. I think initially many doctors will try to rule out scabies by giving the permethrin cream. If the rash continues right away they know it isn't scabies. It can be very frustrating, especially due to the terrible itching. I know for eczema that using aquaphor and a cortisone ointment helped me and also taking omega 3 oils internally. Good luck.

Does anyone else have eczema?
Woody Black Asked: Does anyone else have eczema?
I have weird eczema – its not that bad at all – tiny specs in certain places for short periods of time.
The weird thing is they move – each time I get it its in a different spot – always symmetrical – so it started about 5 years ago on tops of middle fingers (both hands)
then behind the knee (both knees), then inside elbows – and currently just my wrists ??
Does anyone else eczema act like this – it seems really weird – oh and it only ever lasts like 2 months then goes for months and months.. before coming back in a new place.. is it even eczema, could it be something else ?
certain clothes I wear can cause it to come back btw – so maybe not eczema ?
doctors tell me something different each time I go – so I dont bother anymore
thanks
Answers:
Yes, I get it from time to time.Usually in the winter when I have to wear long-sleeve jumpers. The eczema would appear on the inside of my elbows and wrists but one time I had it really bad for months on my thigh and side.
I was told that I was lactose intolerant so I had to by lactose-free milk and take emolient baths. The eczema cleared up and now I am having normal milk again.Fortunately, I have not had a repeat of this severe condition since.
When I do get a flare up, at the earliest opportunity, I go and sit in the sun.The sun clears it up in no time.I hope this helps.
i have eczema that's a lot like this – it often appears symmetrical (for me at least) because of the clothes i wear.I get it on the back of my knees but of jeans rubbing etc, and on my arms, again because the fabric and whatever it's washed in irritates it.I had it when I was younger and it went away for years, recently it's come back again and all the doctors do is prescribe cream that I'm only allowed to use for a certain amount of days but it never works :/
Yours is likely eczema and it's not that strange about it being symmetrical.
I've had eczema since I was a little baby. I have the same problem with my eczema in different spots too.I would mostly get them on my arms and legs in different places and they would be symmetrical too. But after awhile they only came around by my elbows(both) and behind my knees(both). Also mine too stays for like two months then goes away for awhile. Usually when I get a breakout, I use Cordizone 10 and it makes it not so irratable andit goes away within few days. But most people with eczema have family members or parents with eczema too. I looked up a website that talks about it and it sounds kinda like what you said so maybe you could check it out. And I hope this helped you!
