My skin under a microscope is different. it is more open to nerves, as a result, it irritates my skin when i touch stuff. ESPECIALLY paper.I am 13 ending 7th Grade and this disease is ruining my life.It effects my grades, mind, and performance.I am very very smart but my skin is so distracting in school and you know how everything is paper in school. My mom knows and she was heartbroken.Theres no cure, no medicine, nothing. Only lotion.Even coating with lotion every morning, throughout the day, and night isnt enough. Ifeel all dirty with lotion so i try not to use it alot.I have a very hard life here.I always wonder how am I gonna go on in life.I have to wear tape on my hand when i write.i hate jeans too.I spit on my hands to keep them moist. HELP!!! please.
im tearing up as i write this. Its hard to take showers cuz that drys out my skin more. Even with lotion. But i also love the warmth and comfort.its the only time i get away.I have thought of killing myself everyday to end my suffering.I pray to God.in the beginning of the year i had a breakdown.I never want to go to school. Not for class, for THIS. :'( PLEASE HELP IM CRYING PLEASE OH MY GOD PLEASE.NOBODY knows my condition but my family.NBODY knows how hard my life is for me.i know other people have it…but not like this.they have it only on their feet and hands, i have it ALL OVER;Im always soooo stressed out and im failing classes because of THIS!!!! its not fair!!!!!Im smarter than this! I once had severly dry and leathery skin after a minor accident and for over a year it stayed that way until someone recommed me this thick creme from the Body Shop. It is the Hemp Creme (seriously it is creme from hemp) and they have a hand version and a thicker foot creme version. I used the hand creme version and it went away! For a sever case like yours I would recommend the foot version. Here is a link. Good luck…
I have Eczema too, I am sixteen years old now but when I was about 13 it started to get severe. Since then it has lightened up alot, but when i went to the doctor they would give me steroid shots that would help it go away. Also, I have poblems with being allergic to nickel, which is in door knobs and most other objects containing metal, I got prescribed an antibiotic that seemed to help with my Eczema too. Now, I rarely have problems with either, so you should try to talk to your doctor and google some options. I also used the cream too, and I had to try many different types of cream before one finally clicked. Make sure when you do shower that you are not rubbing your skin with the towel to dry off because it scratches your skin and makes it itch even more.
Poor thing don't you cry, And don't you worry, God will find a way to end your suffering, but suicide is NOT it!! Wear sweat pants. If it read is that bad try home schooling. Don't wear anything tight it will jut rub your skin.
And even though I have no idea away your goin through, I know that it must hurt to even think about it. Tell teachers or a counselor, maybe they can think of a way to help you in school.
And your friends don't know what youre going through but if they were true friends they wouldn't judge you for it.
Don't cry, things will get better, I promise you :'). It broke my heart to read this. Don't you end your life, you haven't gotten a chance to live. Your prince will find you, they always do. And if a boy judges you for this, he is absolutely not the right one. Ask your doctor for help. DO NOT CONSIDER SUICIDE, PLEASE. JUST PLEASE. </3.
Sounds like you might have allergies.See a doctor that deals with allergies.I suffered once from extreme internal itching. No signs of rash.I was having a histamine release from my body and thought I would go nuts.My emphathy goes out to you.Do this right away. There is no need for suffering like this.An Allergist is the only way to go.Good Luck!!

Eczema??? Causes and treatments – Moogoo?
Surferchick101 Asked: Eczema??? Causes and treatments – Moogoo?
I have had eczema since last December around my mouth, eyelids and nose, and need some help getting rid of it! I've tried heaps of products and seen a doctor to no avail, and I can't work out what I'm allergic to. Can you please let me know some common related allergies to eczema or how I can find out what I'm sensitive to? I am very tempted to try some creams and washes from a fantastic sounding company called Moogoo, but has anyone tried this personally and it has helped? Please give me as much detail about what you know as possible and link any websites you think have some good info. Thanks!

What are some recommendations for treating eczema in a 5 yr old child(has had it since 6 months old)
sandy g Asked: What are some recommendations for treating eczema in a 5 yr old child(has had it since 6 months old)
Child has severe eczema, we have only been able to treat it with lotion, creams, ointments, steroids, etc. Dairy products are not an issue as we have restricted these and noticed no difference. Child is highly allergic to peanuts, and egg whites. No asthma or other allergies.

Allergy Testing For Toddler?
Krista Asked: Allergy Testing For Toddler?
I'm taking my 2 1/2 year old toddler for an allergy test tomorrow. I have his allergies narrowed down and do my best to avoid his triggers, but he also has seasonal allergies that even claritin doesn't completely help. He gets 2 baths a day (it really helps his skin), doesn't play outside in the early morning, and gets lotioned constantly. I'm not wondering what happens or if it will hurt him, I've heard enough about the process from people and internet searching. What I am wondering, though, is will the allergist be able to give him anything to help with his severe allergies? I would like to hear anyones experiences and I'm hoping I won't make a trip to the allergist just to hear what I already know he's allergic to, and that they won't be able to do anything for him except have me keep doing what I'm doing.
His allergies are on his skin, he has eczema that seems to make his skin itch INTENSLEY. As far as colds and congestion he doesn't have that. He does have asthma, but takes singular and that works great! He hasn't had asthma attacks since taking that medicine.
Thank you so much for any replies!

Sunlight can ward off food allergies – Ninemsn
Sunlight could help ward off the onset of food allergies and eczema in children.
A study of 7600 Australians by the Murdoch Children’s Research Institute found that those in southern parts of the country were more likely to develop eczema and food allergies than those who lived further north.
Lead researcher Katie Allen said the results support the hypothesis that sunlight, or more specifically vitamin D, may play a role in the development of such ailments.
The study also showed that children aged between eight and nine who lived in Australia’s south had a six-times greater chance of having a peanut allergy than their northern counterparts.

Sunshine Answer to Eczema and Allergies? – Pirate FM
Posted 6:09am 9th February 2012.Researchers from Cornwall think the key to beating childhood eczema and allergies could be sunshine.
Teams from The Knowledge Spa in Truro have been studying groups living in areas where there is lots of it and those living in duller climates.
Their conclusion is that kids who are often out in the sun have fewer intolerances than those who are not.
Doctor Nick Osborne led the research. He said, “Obviously too much sunshine can be bad for you. But take it easy in the sun and it can provide a healthy option for your family. We are starting to get a body of evidence that will lead us to some conclusions about the importance vitamin D. In fact there are some trials starting up where people are getting capsules of vitamin D and hopefully that will provide even better evidence.”

My son is 9 weeks old, what can this be?
ilovejada06 Asked: My son is 9 weeks old, what can this be?
So my son is severly dry skin on his face.I beleive it is eczema. It started on his chin, which went away. But now it is on his cheeks. It was started to fade little by little. But now, it is coming back and looks pretty red.I also noticed his left eyelid is red as well…He goes to the Dr tomorrow so I will talk to her about all this stuff then, but, what do you think is going on and or what can I do to help my little guy out?I hate see ing his face like this ![]()

Are you giving him too many baths? That can cause it. Babies that age only need a bath twice a week with mild baby soap. Try some baby lotion and see if that helps too.
Bath him less, with sponge baths inbetween. You don't need to use soap every wash. If you use lotion don't use one with any kind of perfume, you could try one with oatmeal or aloe in it.
buy baby aveno with no scent and put it on his face.
Ask the doc if they recommend Baby Aquaphor. It is a greasy product made by eucerin. It's pricey but oh my goodness, it is a gel form of gold when it comes to baby's skin. It reminds me of vaseline but it has healing properties. I got a sample from the doctor and it has been amazing. Baby girl is now almost 4 months old and gets drool rash and teething rash on her chin and cheeks as well as wind burn. She has extremely sensitive skin and the aquaphor clears it up within 24 hours. Congrats on your little man, enjoy!
I don't think this is eczema? Babies do get dry skin. They way that is moving around is what seems wierd.
Talk to your doc for sure. I agree that maybe you are bathing him to much. As much as people say they bath thier baby every day, it is not needed and a bit harsh with babies skin.
My friend's son had this and it would come and go. Eventually they figured out that he had allergies to their cats. Do you have any pets? Sometimes food or environmental allergies can present as skin rashes or eczema.

How To Get Rid Of Eczema Permanently
Probiotics are the useful bacteria which suppress the growth of harmful bacteria in the body. Probiotics are particularly effective in curing eczema caused due to allergens. Lactobacillus GG is the most commonly used probiotic strain for curing eczema. Researches have shown that probiotics are best for curing eczema in children, especially the eczema caused due to food allergies.
Laundry detergent that is inadvertently left behind on clothing that has been put through the wash cycle can cause irritating breakouts. In many cases individuals with this skin condition will take the time to run their clothing through a second rinse to avoid further outbreaks.
Chamomile is considered as the most popular treatment for eczema. You can prepare a potent tea from the flowers as treatment for the skin condition. An alternative method in using chamomile as treatment option is by using it as compress in the affected part of your skin. Another one of the eczema natural remedies is Vitamin E cream. This cream will help you with the irritation and itching. It’ll also help keep your skin dry. You can buy Vitamin E at a cosmetic store or at your local health store. Be sure to apply the cream to your skin at least once a day. Carrot and musk melon is particularly beneficial in cases of eczema. The should be taken three to four times daily reducing the intake later on and adding milk and curds.
Avoid dairy products. Try not to eat cheese or yogurt or drink milk, this will definitely help your condition. If you are concerned with calcium loss add calcium with magnesium in your daily supplements. You will be surprised how refraining from eating dairy can help relieve you of your problem.
Applying herbs to the affected areas can help to alleviate symptoms of eczema, along with inflammation. German chamomile and burdock root help to reduce inflammation and can speed up the healing for areas that might be raw because of excessive scaling. Red clover, stinging nettle, and Roman chamomile have also been known to be effective in reducing inflammation in eczema patients.
You can also try this home remedies for eczema. Prepare fresh fruit or vegetable juice and apply it over the eczema affected area. Fruits or vegetables that are used for this purpose are carrot, orange, grapes and spinach. Apply the oil concoction to the eczema before you sleep then wash it off in the morning. If you can, try to apply the oil throughout the day as well. You should notice results within a week! One of the most popular natural cures for eczema is tea tree oil. This is because it can eliminate eczema patches and relieve the accompanying itch. You can apply it topically or use it as a lotion, cream or a cleanser, provided that tea tree oil is an active ingredient of these items.

Please help identify my skin problem/rash?
Pancho Asked: Please help identify my skin problem/rash?
I have seen 2 family doctors and 1 dermatologist. One doctor said it is dermatitis, another said eczema.
I filled their prescriptions and yet nothing has worked. My rash has been going on for over a year now. I have no allergies, and it just appeared one day. It's a small group of red dots. They don't itch, aren't flaky, fade sometimes in color, yet they never disappear. They don't hurt, nor feel warm to the touch. I don't spray perfume there or any lotion. I leave that area alone completely. It is only located on the lower part of the front of my neck. Together the few spots are close to the size of a dime. Every since it appeared I do not wear clothing that rubs against it or necklaces. I haven't done anything different either..same workout, same eating habits, same laundry detergent & softener for over 5 years.
Besides the prescribed medicine I've also tried Lotrimin for Ringworm, Neosporin, Antibacterial Soap, Hand Sanitizer, Acne Medicine and Witch Hazel.
Please help me, it is embarrassing..maybe I could have a tattoo artist go over it with skin colored ink.I tried makeup once, it didn't work.
Can you tell me what type of rash I have?

Why do I care so much about what (she) others think?would you ask her?
rahul Asked: Why do I care so much about what (she) others think?would you ask her?
Ok so last fall my eczema, allergies were reallllyy bad…. until I found out that I'm allergic to milk…. the time before was deplorable… veryvery bad….. by the way doctors won't help you as much… you have to be patient keep searching if you want to get better…. I was never told about these allergies… the doctors just focused on making more money…. allergies are the most important things to look at when you are sick….
only true friends were still with me when I was this sick… I used to walk around like a zombie…. tough times man tough times and I always make sure to be grateful to such caring humans .. everybody has good and bad times….
ok… so I was in this dance class… still looking like a zombie…. and girls mostly acted like I was a creepy vampire… but there was this one chick that was really good looking and friendly… girls like this are friendly in general.. I started liking her but not in a creepy way… (in a heyy whats up way) she was the only girl that smiled… she felt sorry for me (which I don't like but it takes a lot of kindness to dance with a zombie)…. there is are lot of pretty girls out there but I lost interest.. I cant believe it….. don't know if it would be like this forever…. maybe it was because most people were mean to me back then.. in general ..It's hard to finish the question… in the following semester when I lost 20 pounds and I am still following my strict mma and boxing plan she looked at me with a smile… it felt kool…. I decided to go up to her and sayy hayy I remember you from that class… I think you were really cool because you were so chill blablabla… again just to be appreciating the kindness… and she has a bad look on her face everytime she walks by lately? i never talked to her… why would this be….. and her friend once looked at me in a I'm not sure what way… pretty weird though… it was either in a poor guy way or I don't know….. I think I'm in love but I can live by myself like a monk since I have found another big time love which is martial arts… butthe thing is I lose focus because my question is not answered why does she look so mad… In sparing I have become softer but still improving…… I think she had mistaken me she thought I was checking her out but I was just staring out of happiness …. I was happy to see a friendly person…. why cant she just smile like before? …. I never tried to harm anyone.. and I was just trying to say hi once… what would you do about this? probably just wait until I forget about her right? but its not that easy… whenever I'm in school I see others and think that its her and change my direction because I feel like she feels like I'm following her but I just happen to see her often on campus…. I don't ask for much and I mind my own business.. which is boxing mma and school…. the least I want is for her to know that I'm not a creep! I just couldnt help it… I know what my weaknesses are but I want to know why she looks so disapointed mad? why cant just everybody be happy in this world without suffering… it hurts me when there is person that is really compassionate to be mad at me? what did I do wrong? I am trying to go to class at different times to avoid her but still see her walking with that face…??? it only started since looked at her walking by….. I belive the best thing would be to ignore… but how sad to be disliked by someone so kool…. oh well…. what would you do? its not like I was hey whats up mami… I would never do that the least thing I would have done is tell her that she was nice… and I would move on with my life… but now I will always think that oh man….I am so dumm….. it works with other girls I am just a person that likes to be friends with nice people but if someone doesnt want to thats good too… but… hmmm I think Ill just focus on my martial arts love for now…. I need to forget that friendly smile how do i do it? Because she is probably like oh what a creep…I'm way above your level….. I know but I'm not even trying to …. if she just wouldnt look so angry I could stop thinking about what I did wrong… again I am not really trying to be with her…. just want to know why she would be so angry? its probably a person that smiles a lot at everyone…. but why stop smiling…. its kinda like if you think that opra is kool and you look at her and then she gets angry… you would feel like snap because you didnt mean any harm… and whats up with her friend why did she make that face…. I sometimes hate to be seen as a different person than I am….. and whenever I like a girl its not only because of looks and I was only planing on saying hi… and I never try to date them or anything like that… ok well let me summarize the question.
Why would she not smile anymore? I'm not trying to be with her no pro, how am I causing
