    Chapstick similar to Chap-et?

Payasa Asked: Chapstick similar to Chap-et?

I have eczema on my lips and I don't like using prescribed corticosteroids because I feel like it's too risky. I love Chap-et, it works really well and stops the eczema totally. My fiancee got it for me while he was in his country but I'm almost out and I can only find it online. I need something to use till it comes but I'm worried that anything else will break me out. I've tried several brands but they've never helped. Does anyone know a brand w/ the same/similar ingredients? Thank you!

Can you get low allergenic spray tans?

Cassie Asked: Can you get low allergenic spray tans?

I have eczema and so when I scratch it takes the pigment out of my skin leaving patches of whiter skin than I have. I'm planning my wedding and I'm dreading these patches of skin since they're all over my arms.
I dont mind about the price I just need coverage that won't make me itch more!
    Thank you

I once had severly dry and leathery skin after a minor accident and for over a year it stayed that way until someone recommed me this thick creme from the Body Shop. It is the Hemp Creme (seriously it is creme from hemp) and they have a hand version and a thicker foot creme version. I used the hand creme version and it went away! For a sever case like yours I would recommend the foot version. Here is a link. Good luck…

I have Eczema too, I am sixteen years old now but when I was about 13 it started to get severe. Since then it has lightened up alot, but when i went to the doctor they would give me steroid shots that would help it go away. Also, I have poblems with being allergic to nickel, which is in door knobs and most other objects containing metal, I got prescribed an antibiotic that seemed to help with my Eczema too. Now, I rarely have problems with either, so you should try to talk to your doctor and google some options. I also used the cream too, and I had to try many different types of cream before one finally clicked. Make sure when you do shower that you are not rubbing your skin with the towel to dry off because it scratches your skin and makes it itch even more.

Poor thing don't you cry, And don't you worry, God will find a way to end your suffering, but suicide is NOT it!! Wear sweat pants. If it read is that bad try home schooling. Don't wear anything tight it will jut rub your skin.

And even though I have no idea away your goin through, I know that it must hurt to even think about it. Tell teachers or a counselor, maybe they can think of a way to help you in school.

banner468x60 I just cant take this anymore?

And your friends don't know what youre going through but if they were true friends they wouldn't judge you for it.

Don't cry, things will get better, I promise you :'). It broke my heart to read this. Don't you end your life, you haven't gotten a chance to live. Your prince will find you, they always do. And if a boy judges you for this, he is absolutely not the right one. Ask your doctor for help. DO NOT CONSIDER SUICIDE, PLEASE. JUST PLEASE. </3.

Sounds like you might have allergies.See a doctor that deals with allergies.I suffered once from extreme internal itching. No signs of rash.I was having a histamine release from my body and thought I would go nuts.My emphathy goes out to you.Do this right away. There is no need for suffering like this.An Allergist is the only way to go.Good Luck!!

Possibly Ringworm or Eczema or ?

Mae Asked: Possibly Ringworm or Eczema or ?

About a month ago I noticed 3 light red spots-one on my stomach, one on my side & one on my shoulder. They felt dry, too, but not itchy. I started putting tea tree oil on them, but I think it made it worse, as they got darker red (unless it happened on its own) and began itching, and I've since gotten 2 more (another on my stomach and one near my underarm. I'm attaching 3 photos here of a couple of them. I thought it was ringworm so I've been using an anti-fungal cream for over a week now, but it doesn't seem to be doing anything. Thinking maybe it's eczema? Never had it, though. Or an allergic thing? Not sure why they'd stick around for so long, though. Anyone have any idea? I'll be going to the dr. if nothing changes. Thanks.

    Eczema and Prednisone use…?

lauren s Asked: Eczema and Prednisone use…?

Hi, long story short, ive had eczema forever, but has become severe in the past 12 months. I'm 27.
Have always been on and off cortisone creams. Have tried detoxing, avoiding certain foods that im sensitive to, ive tried naturopathic treatment, homeopathic treatment, acupuncture, many supplements, western, eastern, natural, EVERYTHING.
Every cream on the market. Every remedy I've ever heard of or come across.
Some of this has helped a little and most of it doesn't.
What does give me GREAT relief is Prednisone tablets. I am well aware of all the side affects and have done a lot of research… But I would like to use it only weekly, if that. I have never been on a long course ive only ever taken one dose when I have a bad flare up and within hours my skin looks and feels so much better. Sometimes I just really need that relief.
If I continued to use prednisone very intermittently (eg; one dose weekly, or just when I flare up), how would this compare in terms of safety and side effects, instead if being on a long term low dose (eg; a small dose every 2nd or 3rd day.)
I am aware of the tapering factor with prednisone, my understanding is that if u take it longer than 3-7 days you have to gradually reduce or taper off.
    Any advice or extra info?

A lot of bad habits, please help me!?

Vividbeautiful Asked: A lot of bad habits, please help me!?

Im 14 &I have a lot of self inflicted habits that are becoming a problem. My mom doesn't understand and simply tells me to "Stop".
Well it's extremely hard. These are my problems…
    1) I have bad eczema and a few years ago I got a patch of it on my ankle above my foot. Since then I've repeatedly ripped it open and scratched it raw and it's never healed. I do it every night, and the relief from scratching it is almost like an orgasmic bliss (read that somewhere else too)
    2) I pull my hair out. I tease the hair with my thumb and pointer finger so it's all crinkly and rolls up into a small knotty ball and then pull it out. I typically pull on the crown of my head which is the worst possible place as everyone can see it. At the moment I have one dollar sized bald spot (Canadian) one quarter sized bald spot and one nickel sized bald spot. I am so upset about this and repeatedly try and stop. I am aware that I could have trichotilomania but my mom doesn't beleive me & I don't want to go to a shrink. I really wanna stop on my own.
    3) I have scabs on my head that I daily pick at until the come off and bleed. God it's so disgusting & I hate it but I just can't seem to stop!!!!!!
Please only answer if you have legitimate advice for me, as I'm upset stressed and depressed as it is.
Thank you all so much!!!!!!! icon smile A lot of bad habits, please help me!? xxo

Dry rough spot on forehead, how to get rid of?

6549238 Asked: Dry rough spot on forehead, how to get rid of?

I used Epiduo but it didn't work out for me so I stopped. Since then there's a patch of dry skin on my forehead that will not go away. I've dried different lotions, moisturizers. The spot is a little darker than my skin tone too! Help! I exfoliate 3 times a week. I have a Clarsonic face brush I use. I moisturize and apply lotion but the spot is still dry! What should I do?! Is this permanent? I do not have eczema or psoriasis.
